The LaTeX copy editor will be responsible for the layout and technical compliance of scientific articles written using the LaTeX scientific layout software, the prepublication of proofs and the publications of the centre Mersenne.<\/p>\n\n
– To ensure that the code for each scientific article written using LaTeX scientific page layout software (text and bibliography) is reproduced and cleaned up, in accordance with the journal’s graphic and editorial guidelines<\/p>\n\n
– Pre-press checking of graphic elements and image retouching<\/p>\n\n
– Check document conformity and quality throughout the publication process<\/p>\n\n
– Ensure that the automatic conversion of LaTeX metadata to XML is carried out correctly, and correct bugs where necessary<\/p>\n\n
– Publish validated booklets using the tools of the centre Mersenne’s online publishing platform<\/p>\n\n
– Discussing, in writing or orally, the various stages of the standardisation and publication process with the various people involved: authors, subcontractors, journal editorial boards or the centre Mersenne team, and reporting the various corrections<\/p>\n\n
– Produce status files and keep a register of articles received, in process and published<\/p>\n\n
– Design, adapt or develop LaTeX templates for the journals of the centre Mersenne<\/p>\n\n
