{"id":4906,"date":"2023-09-22T08:46:14","date_gmt":"2023-09-22T06:46:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.centre-mersenne.org\/launch-of-the-peer-community-journal-uga-editions-centre-mersenne-partnership\/"},"modified":"2025-08-28T14:38:12","modified_gmt":"2025-08-28T12:38:12","slug":"launch-of-the-peer-community-journal-uga-editions-centre-mersenne-partnership","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.centre-mersenne.org\/en\/launch-of-the-peer-community-journal-uga-editions-centre-mersenne-partnership\/","title":{"rendered":"Launch of the Peer Community Journal &#8211; UGA \u00c9ditions &#8211; Centre Mersenne partnership"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>The centre Mersenne, UGA \u00c9ditions and <em>Peer Community Journal<\/em> are launching a partnership to make <strong><strong>two new sections<\/strong><\/strong> <strong>of the journal<\/strong> freely available. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"961\" height=\"464\" src=\"https:\/\/www.centre-mersenne.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/pcj_UGA-Ed_mersenne_visuel-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4852\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.centre-mersenne.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/pcj_UGA-Ed_mersenne_visuel-1.png 961w, https:\/\/www.centre-mersenne.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/pcj_UGA-Ed_mersenne_visuel-1-300x145.png 300w, https:\/\/www.centre-mersenne.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/pcj_UGA-Ed_mersenne_visuel-1-768x371.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 961px) 100vw, 961px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p>The creation of two new sections in the <em><a href=\"https:\/\/peercommunityjournal.org\/\">Peer Community Journal<\/a><\/em> provided an opportunity to set up a three-way partnership between <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uga-editions.com\/\">UGA \u00c9ditions<\/a>, PeerCommunity In (publisher of Peer Community Journal) and the centre Mersenne. <\/p>\n\n<p>Indeed, the two sections in question had disciplinary characteristics outside the scope of the centre Mersenne, which specialises in science and technology: <a href=\"https:\/\/peercommunityjournal.org\/section\/healthmovsci\/\">Health &amp; Movement Sciences<\/a>, dedicated to experimental psychology, and <a href=\"https:\/\/peercommunityjournal.org\/section\/rr\/\">Registered Reports<\/a>, covering science and technology on the one hand, but also medicine, social sciences and humanities on the other. <\/p>\n\n<p>The centre Mersenne naturally contacted its campus neighbour, UGA \u00c9ditions, the multidisciplinary publisher of the University of Grenoble Alpes, for a collaboration on the dissemination of these Mersenne \u2018out-of-field\u2019 PCIs.<\/p>\n\n<p>All the new sections created for Peer Community Journal in the fields of social sciences, humanities and medicine will now be distributed by the centre Mersenne in collaboration with UGA \u00c9ditions.<\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Peer Community Journal<\/em> is a multidisciplinary open access diamond journal published by <a href=\"https:\/\/peercommunityin.org\">Peer Community In<\/a> and distributed by the centre Mersenne since October 2022. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The centre Mersenne, UGA \u00c9ditions and Peer Community Journal are launching a partnership to make two new sections of the journal freely available.
